Our client is one of the UK’s leading international economic development consulting firms.
They are currently seeking an MD (chief executive) to grow the consultancy:
• Build reputation for professional quality, innovation,
• impact and excellence
• Expand firm with new clients and broadening offering and geographic reach
• Attract, retain and develop the professional staff both individually and as a team in an enjoyable environment of mutual respect.
Our client has core strengths in governance, banking, public sector management, and micro and small enterprise development, including SME finance.
Requirements:
Seasoned leader and manager with proven track record of:
• Developing and implementing a growth oriented business strategy
• Building client relationships
• Understanding the public and private competitive bidding environment
• Working with finance, marketing, sales, HR and organisational development
• Addressing problems methodically to create opportunities internationally
• Achieving new business and profitability targets
Successful candidate will be professionally qualified, e.g. have an undergraduate degree from a recognised university, as well as an advanced degree in a relevant subject matter such as international development, economics, business, international finance.
