Our client is growing its Government team in the UK and is focusing on a number of key areas, including application solution architects and developers.
Our client is looking to recruit people with experience and skills in this area to its Consulting workforce. They will be assigned to client facing roles, and will be key members of the teams that design and implement business solutions with the firm\'s clients.
Successful candidates will have a BIG 5 Background.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Consultants / Managers recruited will take lead solution
design and delivery roles that will involve the analysis of
business requirements, through to the implementation of
new applications.
Professional & Educational Requirements:
University/College Degree
Skills Required:
Minimum of 3 years of applicable solution delivery / consulting experience (preferably in Government).
Experience of most stages in the application delivery lifecycle from requirements definition through to implementation
Understanding of common technologies such as Siebel, Chordiant, Filenet, Java/J2EE, .NET, Weblogic, Websphere, middleware e.g. eGate etc
Understanding of data modelling techniques
Hands-on experience of organisation and process design
Experience of managing small teams
Experience of project planning and estimating
Working within a structured environment with a delivery
methodology and development tools
Experience of progress, monitoring and reporting
Deep knowledge of structured solution delivery techniques
Knowledge of some architecture components and products such as Security,
Networking / Application Communication, UNIX infrastructures, Linux etc., would be an advantage.
Ability to advise and interact with all levels of client management and staff
Excellent business analysis and design skills
Analyses business requirements for changes to technology, process and people
Uses defined requirements to lead functional and technical application and process design activities
Leads a team to build new applications and processes using a structured methodology
Directs the creation, execution, and documentation of tests to ensure that applications meet user and technical needs
Assists in planning and managing a project
Able to deliver information effectively to clients through documentation and presentations
Builds and maintains client relationships
